Training

The First Training Course on “New-Type Urbanization and Green Low-carbon Urban Planning and Development" successfully held in Shenzhen

The one and a half days’ training was joined by three trainers and 14 students who are from government institutions, financial investment groups, planning and design firms, green technology companies. 


More than 100 domestic and international good practices were shared, and domestic and international hot topics were interpreted. In the meantime, the training course covered a lot of authorized outcomes, such as Guangdong Low-carbon Eco-city Guide, new version of National Green Building Standard, LEED-ND, International Green Model City Principles, etc. What’s more interesting, the students got excited about the discussions on some of the current hot topics and key words including: global transformation, climate change mitigation and adaptation, green urbanization, carbon constraints, public-private partnership (PPP), green supply chain and the like.


The training was supported by Global Forum on Human Settlements (GFHS) and International Green Model City Expert Committee, and hosted by Shenzhen International Green Model City Investment and Management Co., Ltd.
