Slow city garden is also the oriental sustainable city. There are 26 river channels within Changshan County with the overall forest coverage of 73.2% to create excellent and favorable ecological environment. In recent years, Changshan has made great effort to build “Slow City Garden”--the oriental sustainable city, and will always devote itself to cultivating the city’s demeanor of “Slow”, realizing “Slow Leisure”, “Slow Ecology”, “Slow Traffic” and “Slow Life”, and enabling people to take a deep breath and enjoy their worry-free life. Meanwhile, efforts will also be made to promote the the city’s greening project and the water environment management and control while implementing the “River Responsible Person System” and the “Riding & River Responsible Person System” to advocate the tree planting activity, fully clear all garbage and better the ecological environment. Furthermore, the county will also focus on the landscaping of the city, positively enhancing the high-end characteristic home-stay construction respectively in Sanqu Stone Forest Scenic Spot and Chinese Decoration Stone Expo Park, manifesting local features. In order to improve the common people’s daily life, special measures will also be taken to reform toilets, renovate old and dangerous houses, strengthen the farmer’s quality training, enhance the prevention and control of social order and present people with a worryfree life.
